The Skill Development Centre aims to enhance skills for faculty, non-teaching staff, technical   personnel, and administrators for the overall development and efficiency of the educational institution in the following domains:

  • Pedagogical Skills : Instructional design, and classroom management techniques to create engaging and effective learning experiences for students.
  • Technology Integration : Staying updated with educational technology tools and platforms for online and blended learning.
  • Assessment and Evaluation : Developing effective methods for assessing student learning outcomes and using assessment data for program improvement.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration : Promoting collaboration across disciplines to encourage innovative teaching and research.
  • Mentoring and Advising : Developing skills in mentoring students, guiding research projects, and providing academic advising.
  • Communication Skills : Improving communication and interpersonal skills for effective interactions with students, faculty, and other staff members.

The Skill Development Centre organizes trainings through workshops, seminars, OJTs and online courses to provide support to the faculty and other employees to stay updated and thrive in their roles.
